  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut stale bread into cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together dairy-free milk, brown sugar, cornstarch, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and black salt until smooth.
  4. Add bread cubes to the mixture. Stir gently and let sit for 15 minutes to soak.
  5. In another bowl, mix flour, chopped pecans, vegan butter, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until crumbly.
  6. Pour soaked bread mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle topping evenly over it.
