  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 bag sugar-free chocolate chips (810 ounces)
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar alternative
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, baking soda, and cocoa powder; set aside.
  3. Melt butter and half the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl; let cool slightly.
  4. In another bowl, whisk eggs and brown sugar alternative together. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and fold in remaining chocolate chips and optional nuts.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are firm but centers are soft.
