Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together apple cider, butter, and both sugars until smooth; then add the egg and mix well.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Form dough into balls and roll in sugar before placing on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
